The State of Minnesota has changed their Personal Care Assistant (PCA) bond requirement. Each location for a provider agency is now required to post a PCA bond, as well as a $20,000 Fidelity Bond. Previously, only one bond was required per company.
Each location of a PCA agency is required to have a surety bond in one of the following amounts:
-either $50,000, if the Provider’s Medicaid payment in the previous calendar year were $300,000 or less.
– or $100,000, if the Provider’s Medicaid payment in the previous calendar year were $300,000 or more.
-and $20,000 Fidelity.
