The U.S. Department of Transportation Bonding Education Program (BEP) is in partnership with Surety and Fidelity Association of America (SFAA) to help small businesses become bond-ready. The BEP consists of classes designed to address what businesses need to do to become bond-ready and one-on-one session with subject matter experts such as local surety bonding producer, CPA, bookkeeper, bankers, and etc. to help assemble the materials necessary for a complete bond application. This program is tailored to businesses competing for transportation related projects. The target audience includes small and emerging contractors. Increase your business capacity and run your operation more effectively!

 NO  COST TO ATTEND!    Program Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be the primary owner(s), key manager(s), or administrator(s) of a business,
  • Have one of the following certifications/designations:
    • Small Businesses
    • DBE
    • HubZone
    • SDB
    • Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business
    • Veteran Owned Business
    • Women Owned Business
    • 8(a)
