HUBZone – Historically Underutilized Business Zone SBA HUBZone map
IDIQ – Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quanitity. This is a kind of contract that provides an estimated ceiling dollar amount, although the dates of purchase and the quantity of service are not specified. Bonds for these contracts are less easy to place.
JBLM – Joint Base Lewis McChord
JOC – Job Order Contracting
MATOC – Multiple Award Task Order Contract
NAICS – North American Industry Classification System. This puts a number to your work specialty. A government, surety or insurance underwriter may ask you for (what sounds like) your “NICKS” code – hence this reference. https://www.naics.com/search/
NAVFAC – Naval Facilities Engineering Command
NAVSEA – Naval Sea Systems Command
NAVSUP – Naval Supply Systems Command
